Membership Fees

Eligibility

Membership in SCVV allows older adults to stay in their homes as vibrant, independent members of our community. Members must be able to stand, pivot and walk under their own power or with the use of canes, walkers or wheelchairs. Volunteers cannot provide physical assistance such as lifting a member. Service-eligible memberships include up to twenty-five hours of volunteer services per month, averaging $1.67 per hour for an individual membership and $2.50 per hour for a household membership.

Individual Membership

The annual fee for an individual membership is $500.

Household Membership

The annual fee for a household membership is $750.

Reduced-Fee Membership

Subsidized memberships are available to lower-income families based on documented need.

Short-Term Membership

For a fee of $75 for thirty days, renewable for a total of three months, short-term memberships may be helpful for temporary needs, such as following surgery.

Supporting Membership

An annual fee of $250 provides access to all social and educational events but no volunteer services. There is also a tax benefit, as $200 of the $250 may be tax deductible; consult your tax professional. Support us now so that we will be here when you need us.
